The reviews of Ibogaine proceed to prove how extremely effective of a treatment it is towards addiction. It targets those addicted to opiates and detoxes them nearly instantly. The effects of it last a lifetime some would say. Almost all withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and urges are nonexistent. Patients are more than open to express the importance of this aspect of Ibogaine use. This is because the after effects of discontinuing the use of opiates are the hardest to face. But with Ibogaine, they’re minds are put at ease, and the recovery process is quick. Ibogaine restores the brain and resets it to it’s normal state. It rapidly heals it in a way that would normally take years to achieve. Being a powerful plant medicine, it allows users a chance to see their lifestyles and choices and decide whether or not they wish to stay on the path they taking. It produces visions of life and choices, therefore guiding our patients.

Responses from Dave:

After going through numerous treatments prior, how do you feel about this treatment as a first step and as far as aftercare?

As a first step I would be a little skeptical to send somebody here who hasn’t had a conventional rehab under their belt and hasn’t tried to get clean a few times. This being an unconventional method, I think there needs to be conventional therapy involved. Here at Ibogaine University, they do offer a lot of amenities to support our staying sober while we’re here. But I think, as far as aftercare, a lot is to be desired. Having not gone through a rehab, I could see how somebody would be lost with all of the emotions they are feeling now. Being able to put together the thoughts that they’ve had, why they’ve relapsed before. I think that’s what Ibogaine really shows you. Our errors in our life. It brings out of us what’s inside of us. It’s not showing us the path to go, it’s more showing us the mistakes that we’ve made. So, myself, without having gone to several rehabs and have been through psychotherapy and traditional counseling, I may not have realized under Ibogaine what I was missing in my life prior.

Who would be appropriate for Ibogaine University?

I believe Ibogaine University would be very appropriate fora chronic relapser. Someone that has been to several treatment centers -conventional, tried on their own without success, and is desperate to get help.

Why do you think it wouldn’t work for somebody who is maybe young and hasn’t gone through treatment facilities before?

This is an introspective process. Ibogaine doesn’t make any promises. It’s basically what you get out of it. I think there’s a certain maturity that needs to be approached before taking the medication. Without a certain type of maturity or realization, I think it could be missed. I’ve heard of a few people saying that they didn’t experience any kind of hallucination or that they didn’t get a spiritual connection, and I think that was just lack of preparation.
